As a tech lead at Condor, you are a software engineer individual contributor whose mission is to power the technical success of our engineering organization. Youâll not only have the technical expertise to take on and lead major projects but also mentor the team toward engineering excellence. As a tech lead, youâll help plan and delegate the technical work of your squad but you wonât be responsible for the career development ownership that comes with having direct reports. Engineering managers at Condor handle the traditional management and long-term strategy for the team.
In other words, youâll not only own your own architecture and code, but youâll make sure fellow engineers are able to execute and chart theirs as well. With support from the engineering manager, youâll focus on technical architecture, system design, and managing the near-term goals of your squad.
Some of the gnarly technical challenges you will tackle include: data extraction from complex source files, data transformation, streamlining complex finance-driven logic, and data visualization.
