Condor is building a world where finance accelerates human progress in medicine.
Our mission is to help biotech finance teams save time, money, and lives by bringing more cutting-edge therapies to market, faster and more affordably.
We started Condor because we realized that the life-saving treatments needed by our loved ones were held back by billions of dollars in complicated, time-consuming, and inefficient financial processes, which consistently delay clinical trial deployment and growth.
More about us here!
Today, we create the best tools in the world to help biotech finance teams eliminate waste from their R&D finances so they can save time, money, and lives.
Our founders, Jennifer and John, previously solved these challenges first-hand. Our team is now bringing our experience in financial operations and tech from places like EY, Twitter, Stanford, and Harvard to scale the solution in software. We’ve teamed up with world-class investors, advisors, and industry leaders, to build new technology that shifts the paradigm of biotech finances.
We recently raised our first institutional round backed by top VCs and industry leaders from life science, finance, and tech.
As an engineering manager at Condor, your mission as a technical leader is to lead and guide the success of the people and product in our engineering organization. As an engineering manager, you’ll own the engineering roadmap, strategy, and process, while also providing the career development support that comes with having direct reports. Engineering managers at Condor handle the traditional management and long-term direction for the team.
Being an engineering manager also means code! You have the ability to roll up your sleeves and code, review code, and coach other engineers on engineering best practices. In collaboration with the tech leads, you’ll focus on technical architecture, system design, and managing the near-term goals of every squad.
Some of the gnarly technical challenges you will tackle include: data extraction from complex source files, data transformation, streamlining complex finance-driven logic, and data visualization.
